What is network gateway? Most systems using Network Address Translation (NAT) or we can say network gateway, to do so in order to enable multiple hosts on a private network to access the Internet using a single public IP address. However, network gateway breaks the originally envisioned model of IP end-to-end connectivity across the Internet and introduces complications in communication between hosts and has performance impacts.
